Existing data and copy were available only in Dutch, requiring continuous alignment to accurately adapt messaging, USPs, and customer intent for the German market.

How we took the solution

Technical Foundation & Tracking Optimization

We resolved key issues in the Google Ads setup, including dynamic remarketing errors and incomplete conversion tracking

(such as add-to-cart and view-item events). These fixes enabled stronger audience building, improved Smart Bidding performance, and more efficient ad delivery.

Shopping Ads Strategy

With limited initial conversions in Germany, we used dynamic remarketing data to kickstart Smart Shopping campaigns. This allowed the algorithm to learn faster and stabilize performance early on. Although brand share was still around 30%, the system was already able to reach new customers and identify relevant user profiles.

YouTube Ads Remarketing

YIONN launched a high-performing YouTube commercial addressing skin irritation, generating over 500,000 organic views. We leveraged this asset for remarketing, significantly increasing reach and engagement especially after the seasonal peak in June resulting in strong brand awareness and visibility.
